The contesting Respondent is the Respondent No.3 - The Chief Officer, Municipal Council, Beed. Initially, Respondent No.3 was represented by an Advocate. On April 1, 2025 when the Petition was listed, it was noticed that the Advocate appearing for Respondent No.3 was no longer on the panel of Respondent No.3 and hence, the notice for final disposal was issued to Respondent No.3, which came to be served. However, none appears for Respondent No.3. 2.

Learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that, though the prayer in the Petition is to direct Respondent No.3 to provide the basic facilities, such as drainage to the locality where the Petitioners were residing, he has instructions to restrict relief for directions to decide the Representations dated 19.05.2011 and 22.09.2017 made to Respondent No.3. He submits that the Petition be disposed off by giving necessary directions to Respondent No.3 to consider and decide the said Representations.

The learned AGP appears for Respondent Nos.1 and 2. 4.

Though final hearing notice has been served, none appears for Respondent No.3.

Considering the oral prayer, the Respondent No.3 shall consider and decide the Representations dated 19.05.2011 and 22.09.2017 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of this Order. In view of this direction, the Petition stands disposed off.
