1] Learned AGP waives service of notice for the respondent nos.2 to 4. Office objection is, therefore, ordered to be ignored.
2] Heard learned counsel for the parties.
3] The petitioners' case is that the petitioner no.1 had submitted a proposal to the respondent nos.1 and 2 for approval / sanction for creation of post of Junior Lecturer on Full Time basis on the establishment of the
WP 9546/17 - 2 - petitioner no.1 and to grant approval for appointment of the petitioner no.2 on the said post to teach subjects Urdu and Economics and pay due salary. The grievance of the petitioners is that though the said proposal has been forwarded by the respondent no.3 to the respondent no.2 and in turn the respondent no.2 has forwarded the same to the respondent no.1, but till date, the respondent no.1 - Secretary has not taken any decision on the said proposal.
4] Keeping in view the aforesaid aspects, we dispose of this petition by directing the respondent no.1 - Secretary to examine the said proposal and take appropriate decision on it in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, but in any case not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5] With the above directions, the petition is disposed of. No costs.
