The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed application under section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act in the year 2013 but the same is not yet decided.

The learned AGP accepts notice for respondent nos. 1 and 2.

In case application filed by the petitioners under section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act (Exh. 'B' Collectively) is pending with respondent no. 2, the Competent Authority, then the respondent no. 2 Competent Authority shall decide the same, in accordance with law after hearing the parties preferably within nine months.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
