The proceeding is filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. for the relief of quashing of F.I.R. No. 219 of 2016 registered with City Chowk Police Station, Aurangabad for the offences punishable under Section 354, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the I.P.C.

The learned counsel for the applicant accused and learned counsel for the first informant submits that parties have settled the dispute. The settlement affidavit is placed on record. It is signed by the first informant Amari Fatema. In view of the nature of dispute and the contents of the settlement, this Court holds that relief needs to be granted. In the result, the application is allowed. Relief is granted in terms of prayer clause-A. Rule is made absolute in those terms.
