Petition relates to the order passed by the revenue authorities in respect of recording of mutation entries. It is well established that the revenue entries are recorded for fiscal purpose and those entries in themselves do not constitute evidence of title or entitlement of any party in relation to the property in dispute. The entries recorded by revenue authorities are subject to change in accordance with determination of rights of the parties by the competent civil Court.

It is informed that civil litigation is pending between the parties. In this view of the matter, it would be open for the parties to pray for recording change after final decision in the civil proceeding pending between the parties.
