Present petitioners challenge a proceeding of RCC No. 21 of 2017 pending in the Court of learned JMFC, Akkalkuwa, Dist. Nandurbar. Considering that the RCC is of the year 2017 and process was issued in 2019. Moreover, there is no averment as to when the petitioners are served with notice. There is no explanation about the delay of laches. In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition on the ground of delay and laches.

This Criminal Writ Petition is disposed off.

However, looking to the fact that case is pending since 2017, the Trial Court is requested to expedite trial and complete it as early as possible and preferably within six months.
