Heard Mr. Jayabhar, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, and Mrs. Deshpande, the learned Asst. Government Pleader for the respondents.

The reference filed by the petitioner under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894, has been allowed. Execution has been filed for recovery of the amount as per the award passed by the reference Court in the year 2012. The limited prayer of the petitioner is that the same be directed to be disposed of expeditiously.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner states that as yet, no notice of any appeal against the award passed by the reference Court has been received by the petitioner.

In case, there is no stay to the award passed by the reference Court under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894, then the executing Court shall endeavour to dispose of the execution proceedings as expeditiously as possible and preferably within one year from the date of this order.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
