The learned counsel submits that the petitioners have filed appeal against the rejection of their application for issuance of caste certificate before the Scrutiny Committee in the year 2017. The same is not yet decided.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for respondents/State. 3.

In case, the appeal filed by the petitioners against the order of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) for issuance of caste certificate is pending with respondent no.2/Committee, then respondent No.2 shall decide the said appeal expeditiously on its own merits in accordance with law, preferably within a period of three months.

The petitioners shall appear before the Committee on 22.03.2021.
