We have considered the prayer clause B set out in this petition, which reads as under :- "By issuing any appropriate writ, order or direction in the like nature the respondent No.7, University Grants Commission, New Delhi, may please be directed to decide the proposals dtd. 16/02/2008 and 21/11/2008 of the petitioner, regarding relaxation from NET/SET examination, forwarded by the respondent No.4."

This writ petition has already been dismissed as against respondent Nos. 4 to 7, which comprises of the University, the concerned College and the University Grants Commission, on 29/10/2014.

Considering the fact that this petition is dismissed against the University Grants Commission, before whom the proposals mentioned in the prayer clause are purportedly pending, this petition cannot be entertained.
