Today, the Registry has produced the matter in chamber pointing out the typographical error in the order dated 1st December, 2016, as instead of withdrawal of the criminal writ petition, inadvertently the order is typed as criminal writ petition is rejected alongwith criminal application. Hence, the corrected order is as under :- "Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to avail appropriate remedy available to him. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. It is made clear that we have not considered the contentions raised in the petition on merits."
