DATE : 21st August, 2017 ORAL ORDER Feeling aggrieved by the inaction on the part of respondent no.2 - Education Officer, in regard to grant of approval to the petitioner's

wp10268.17 (2) appointment on the post of Assistant Teacher, in spite of there being a proposal to that effect sent by the management on 29th April, 2017 (Exh. "C"), the petitioner has filed this petition. 2.

Though the said proposal is not happily worded, but it seems that the said proposal is for grant of approval to the petitioner's appointment as Assistant Teacher.

In the circumstances, we dispose of this petition by directing the Education Officer to consider and take appropriate decision on the said proposal.

The petitioner may also approach the management for giving a specific proposal for her appointment as Assistant Teacher, to be submitted before the Education Officer. The management shall immediately issue such proposal, in case there is no legal impediment. 5.

The Education Officer within one month from today shall consider the said proposal as also the proposal dated 29th April, 2017 (Exh."C") in its correct perspective and take appropriate decision on the same within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
