This petition is filed on 30.08.2021 seeking direction to issue appointment orders to the petitioner no.1 as Live Stock Supervisor and Petitioner No.2 as Civil Engineering Assistant in view of corrigendum dated 02.12.2015 to the Government Resolution dated 21.02.2015 and also Government Resolution dated 09.11.2017.

At the outset, this Court put a query as to how this petition is maintainable wherein the petitioners are seeking direction after almost seven years. The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioners were kept in waiting list prepared in the year 2014 pursuant to the recruitment procedure are undertaken in that year. 3.

This Court hardly find that such petition can be now entertained Narwade/

The learned Advocate for the petitioner seeks to place reliance on the judgment dated 11.10.2018 passed in Writ Petition No.6144 of 2016 (Hemchandra Arjun Koli Vs. State of Maharashtra & Ors.). In the said judgment, it is seen that the petitioners therein had approached in time and still respondent failed to consider their applications. The petitioner therein was at Sr. No.1. It is only in that view this Court was pleased to allow the petition. This Court find that the present petition is barred by delay and laches. No any justification is shown for the said delay and laches. Thus this Court find that no purpose would be served by keeping the Writ Petition pending. However, it is open for the Respondent, Zilla Parishad to consider the prayer, in accordance with law.
