Heard the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned A.P.P. for the respondent/State.

Perused the documents. It reveals that there are no specific allegations against the applicants that they have used the weapon. The main accused assaulted the complainant with screwdriver on his stomach. He is not before the Court. Having regard to the allegations levelled against the applicant and the prosecution has no case for custodial interrogation, the application deserves to be allowed. Hence, the order :- i) The application is allowed. The ad-interim protection granted to the applicant by the order of this Court dated 22.08.2022 is confirmed on the same terms and conditions. ( S.
