ORAL ORDER :

The original respondents seek condonation of delay of 13 days in filing the Cross-Objection. Once the appeal is filed, there is intimation to the party as well as to the Advocate. Lot of time is spent in even admitting the matter. Therefore, the delay of even 13 days will not be justifiable. However, it is reported that, several landholders whose lands are acquired under the same notification and aggrieved by the same judgment have preferred Cross Objections within time. As held in the case of

C.A.No.10358/2018 (( 2 )) Dhiraj Singh (D) Tr. Lrs. Etc. Etc. Vs. Haryana State and Ors. Etc. Etc., reported in [2015(1) SCC (Civil) 236] and Imrat Lal and others Vs. Land Acquisition Collector & others reported in [2012 (2) R.C.R. (Civil) 437], and on the ground that the delay is very short, the delay is condoned. 2.

The Cross-Objection is admitted.
