Affidavit is filed by Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Panchayat, Zilla Parishad, Jalna on behalf of Collector, Jalna. Paragraph 7 of the affidavit reads thus:

I further say and submit that, the Agriculture Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Ambad has conducted the actual measurement of work in presence of complainant / villagers and has submitted his report on 15.06.2019. I say and submit that, the departmental inquiry has been initiated against the responsible officer as well as some of the responsible persons have been removed from services. I further say and submit that, the officer of his deponent has taken every efforts for recovery of an amount of Rs.4,80,296/- from the responsible officers.

It appears that, steps are taken by the respondents. The departmental inquiry is initiated and efforts are made for recovery of amount. The Village Development Officer is also suspended. 3.

In the light of above, the grievance of the petitioner is attended by the respondents. 4.

In view of that, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

Parties are at liberty to take further steps as is permissible.
