This Writ Petition pertains to the election of the Village Panchayat Dhokri, Taluka Akole, District Ahmednagar of the year 2005. The election was challenged by preferring the Election Petition. The matter was heard on preliminary issues since objections has been raised by other side and the learned Judge of Trial Court by its order dated 11.08.2006 dismissed the Election Petition of the petitioner on the ground of maintainability. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that after the said election of the year

The Writ Petition is hereby dismissed as infructuous. Rule discharged.
