1] The petitioner claims to belong to Koli Mahadev - scheduled tribe and is in receipt of the certificate issued by the competent authority certifying accordingly. 2] The petitioner is inducted in employment on temporary basis in the office of respondent no.3 as a Junior Clerk as against a seat reserved for scheduled tribe category. The services of the petitioner have been continued by issuing orders every six months. The petitioner has been informed by a communication dated 30.6.2016 directing him to submit the validation

WP 8203/16 - 2 - certificate before 2.8.2016 and in the event of failure, it is informed that his claim for grant of continuation in employment would not be considered.

3] This petition can be disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 - committee to take decision on the tribe certificate verification proposal of the petitioner pending with the committee as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight months from today and it is accordingly directed. In the meanwhile, the respondent nos.3 and 4 shall not refuse to consider the claim of the petitioner for continuation in employment merely on the ground of his failure to submit validation certificate and his claim be considered subject to decision in respect of tribe certificate verification proposal by the respondent no.2 - committee.

4] With the directions as above, the writ petition is disposed of.

5] Authenticated copy of the order is allowed. Parties to act upon authenticated copy of the order.
