The Petitioner is in employment with the Zilla Parishad. Her claim of belonging to the Mannervarlu ST category is pending validation proceedings since 17.02.2020. The Petitioner apprehends termination of service.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner would tender an affidavit undertaking that, she would not seek increments / promotion / service benefits, etc. until her claim is validated, either by the Committee or by this Court, as the situation khs/August 2024/8490

- 2 - may be. Such affidavit undertaking would be filed in this Court within a period of 15 days from today and a copy would be tendered to the Respondent/Employer.

In view of the above and by recording the above statement, we direct that Respondent No.2/Scrutiny Committee shall take a decision on the tribe claim of the Petitioner, on or before 28.02.2025. 4.

On the condition that the Petitioner would file the affidavit undertaking as recorded above, she shall not be terminated from service. If the affidavit undertaking is not submitted, there shall be no protection.
