PER COURT:- 1.
The petitioner is challenging the election of respondent no.6.

The learned counsel submits that the caste claim of the husband of respondent no.6 is invalidated and this Court has also dismissed the writ petition. The respondent no.6 does not belong to OBC category.
More over, there were illegalities in the conduct of the election. The petitioner has raised objection, the same was not considered.

The caste claim of respondent no.6 is not invalidated. Even according to the provision of
(2) 950-wp-9070-2019 Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act and Rules, the respondent no.6 has time to produce the validity certificate.

If at all the election of respondent no.6 is required to be assailed, the petitioner has remedy under the provisions of Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act.

In view of the above, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
