The learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners have filed reference for enhancement of compensation under the provisions of National Highways Act before the Collector, the same is pending. The Collector be directed to decide the said proceeding expeditiously.

The learned A.G.P. appears for respondent no.1.

It is not even four months petitioners have filed reference before the Collector. The petitioners ought to prosecute their reference and if the same is not decided in reasonable time, then petitioners ought to have approached this Court. 4.

The petitioners may file an application before respondent no.2 for expeditious disposal of his reference. If reference thereafter is not decided in reasonable time, then petitioners may approach this Court.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
