Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

The applicant seeks bail in Crime No.348 of 2021 registered with Shivajinagar Police Station, District Beed for the offences punishable under Sections 392, 395 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that similarly situated co-accused Sharif Shah has been granted bail. Nothing is recovered from the applicant. Since there are similar crimes registered against him, he has been falsely arraigned as an accused in the present crime. He had no concern with the alleged incident. Hence, he may granted bail.

Learned APP would submit that the serious offence of chain snatching has been committed. The applicant has a bad past.

940-ba-1380-2024.odt (2) The offence is serious which provides for a term which may extend to ten years. There is material to prove the involvement of the applicant in the present crime. He is a habitual offender. If the bail is granted to him, there may be danger to the life of a common man. 5.

Perused the papers. Nothing is recovered from the applicant. Similarly situated co-accused have been granted bail. Hence, the applicant deserve parity. Hence, the following order :

O R D E R

(i) Bail Application is allowed.

(ii) Applicant, Rajesh Ramvilas Sonar, be released on bail on furnishing P.B. and S.B. of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) with one solvent surety of the like amount in the above crime, on the conditions that ; (a) The applicant should not tamper with the prosecution witnesses and should attend the trial on each and every date.
