The petitioner's application for grant of furlough has been turned down on the ground of having been overstayed for 221 days, while he was on Covid parole.

The petitioner has surrendered back to jail in December, 2022. About eight months have been over since then. In view of the same, we set aside the order impugned herein, and direct the authorities concerned to grant the petitioner furlough of 28 days, on

49-cr.wp.no.1061.2023 condition that during the period of furlough, he shall mark presence at Jintur Police Station, Jintur, Dist. Parbhani, everyday between 07.00 p.m. and 08.00 p.m. The authorities concerned may also impose usual conditions for grant of 28 days' furlough. 4.
