Dispute between the parties was referred for mediation and the learned Advocate Smt. Geeta Deshpande was appointed as the Mediator to mediate between them.

By the mediation report dated 04/02/2022, the learned Mediator has informed this Court that the mediation is successful and the parties have arrived at amicable settlement and it was reduced in writing in the form of compromise terms signed by the respective parties and their respective Counsel. The compromise terms are placed before me and they are marked as 'Exh.X' for identification.

The applicant and the respondent are personally present before this Court and their identity has established by their respective Counsel, who are present in the Court. 4.

In the wake of the compromise terms signed by the parties, they have agreed to withdraw the proceedings filed by them against each other and in furtherance of paragraph 3 of the compromise terms, a Demand Draft of Rs. 3,00,000/-, drawn in the name of the applicant Smt. Deepa Ramling Narayankar, is brought in the Court, which is handed over to the applicant and she has acknowledged the same. The acknowledgment signed by the applicant is to be placed on record during the course of the day and marked 'X-2' for identification.

As per the compromise terms, the parties have agreed for filing appropriate proceedings seeking mutual divorce in terms of paragraph No.5.

In the wake of the settlement being arrived at between the parties amicably, the Misc. Civil Application need not be entertained and the same stands disposed of.

I must place on record the appreciation for the learned Mediator Smt. Geeta Deshpande, who has taken the efforts to assist the parties to reach at amicable solution. This appreciation shall be communicated to the learned Mediator. (SMT. BHARATI DANGRE, J.) sjk
