In this petition, the lands of the Petitioners was decided to be acquired for the construction of the Village Tank No.6 at Chondi (Khekadkhori), Tq. Dharur, Dist. Beed vide file No. LNQ/SR/28/06. The possession of the lands was taken by private negotiations in 2005.

Considering the above, we direct the District Collector to deal with the representations of the Petitioners, dated 31/12/2019 and 28/02/2022, and initiate steps/issue instructions, as may be appropriate, for calling for a proposal from Respondent No.3, within 60 days and thereafter, follow the procedure as is

4045.21wp (2) laid down in the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, by following the timeline prescribed therein.

With the above directions, this petition is disposed off.
