Respondent no.2, who has been identified by her Advocate Shri P.G.
Tambade, voluntarily submits that they have amicably settled the dispute between herself on one hand and the applicants and other two accused persons on the other. In view of that settlement, she will not prosecute the case further which has been instituted on the basis of the
4233.15appln report lodged against the applicants and other two accused. Since the informant herself does not wish to proceed with the case instituted on the basis of the report lodged by her, there is no point in keeping the said proceeding pending any more. The ground shown by respondent no.2 for not proceeding with the case is a satisfactory i.e. amicable settlement.
Hence the following order :-
ORDER
(i) The application is allowed.
(ii) The F.I.R. bearing C.R. no.111/2015 registered with Police Station, Ahmedpur, Dist.Latur for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 504 and 506 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code is quashed and set aside.
(iii)The application is disposed of accordingly.
