The petitioner claims to be governed under the provisions of the Person with Disabilities (Equal Opportunity, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995. Now the same is amended and the Act of 2016 is in force.

The petitioner may take steps before the authority constituted under the said Disabilities Act for redressal of the grievance.
