The petitioner has challenged the order passed by the Collector, by which the petitioner is disqualifed from continuing on the post of Upsarpanch, under Section 14(1)(J-3) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act.

Admittedly, the petitioner was elected in the year 2017 and the term of the petitioner is now over. The disqualifcation was to operate for the remainder term of the petitioner.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner informs that the petitioner is again elected, in the subsequent elections held in the year 2021.

In that view of the matter, nothing survives in the petition. Writ Petition is, therefore, disposed of as infructuous. Pending civil application stands disposed of.
