Petitioner's father died in harness on 31.8.2020. Within a period of a year of such death, on 9th June, 2021 to be precise, the petitioner applied for compassionate appointment in place of his deceased father as 'Safai Kamgar' or on any other post commensurate with his qualification. 2.

Aggrieved by the indifference and apathy of the Municipal Corporation, Dhule to take an appropriate decision on the application for compassionate appointment, the petitioner has invoked our writ jurisdiction.

Mr. N.N. Desale, learned advocate appearing for the Municipal Corporation makes a statement that the application of the petitioner would be decided on its own merits within four
