In the light of the clarificatory letter from the Directorate of Technical Education addressed to all the Divisional Offices in the State of Maharashtra, namely, at Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati and Nagpur, none of the recognized Institutions shall insist on production of the validity certificate.

In the circumstances, the insistence in these cases by the Respondent/ Engineering College is contrary to this directive. We,

*2* 929o931wp9240o9249o17 therefore, direct the Respondent / Engineering College to abide by the directives from the Director of Technical Education dated 19.07.2017 and permit the Petitioners to continue studies.

This order will mean that the fees should be accepted, the Petitioners be enrolled and admitted for further academic sessions/ terms, they should be allowed to appear for examinations, results be declared and even degree certificate be issued, but all this is subject to the pending proceedings before the Scrutiny Committee and the orders made therein.
