IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

BENCH AT AURANGABAD CONTEMPT PETITION NO.496 OF 2015 IN CRIMINAL WRIT PETITION NO.408 OF 2013 Ramesh Dattatray Bharde & ors.

..PETITIONERS

VERSUS

The State of Maharashtra & anr.

..RESPONDENTS Mr K. M. Nagarkar, Advocate for petitioners;

Mr V. S. Badakh, A.P.P. for respondent No.1 CORAM : PRASANNA B. VARALE AND R. G. AVACHAT, JJ.

DATE : 7th June, 2019 ORAL ORDER:

On bare perusal of contents of the petition and the order dated 30th July, 2013, passed by this Court in Criminal Writ Petition No.408 of 2013, we are of the opinion that the grievance of the petitioner that issuance of a public proclamation in a newspaper dated 27th April, 2015 is a willful disobedience of the order of this Court and/or the respondents are indulging in an act of judicial proceedings, is wholly misconceived. It seems that the petitioners are prompted by their misreading of the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act and have filed this wholly untenable petition in this Court.

In view of above, the petition is required to be dismissed at the threshold and same is dismissed accordingly.
