This application filed by the husband and in-laws, seeks quashing of the FIR at Crime No. 317/2020, registered with Kranti Chowk Police Station, Dist. Aurangabad, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, at the instance of respondent No. 3/wife. 2.

During the pendency of the present matter, the parties have amicably settled their dispute and affidavit to that effect is filed by the respondent No. 3/wife before this Court.

Today, the parties are present before us and they confirmed

36CA2166.20 that they have resolved their matrimonial dispute amicably and the respondent No. 3/wife has stated that she has no objection if the complaint is quashed.

As per the settlement, proceedings for divorce by mutual consent are filed before the Family Court and the amount as per the settlement is deposited.

Taking into consideration, the amicable settlement of matrimonial dispute between the parties, the Criminal Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B'.
