PER COURT :- Although Reference Applications have been decided in the year 2008, the amounts awarded by the Reference Court have not yet been paid by the State Government to the petitioners. It is informed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that the appeal presented by the State Government challenging the decision of the Reference Court has also been dismissed. Possession of the landed property belonging to the petitioners is stated to have been taken in the year 1989.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, we dispose of the writ petition by issuing directions to the respondents to deposit enhanced amount of compensation, in accordance with the decision of the Reference Court, in the execution proceedings as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from today.
