Respondent nos.1 and 2 have filed the affidavit-in-reply. It is stated in the said affidavit-in-reply that the case of the petitioner falls under category 4-B of the Government Resolution dated 15.03.2010 issued by Government of Maharashtra, Home Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai and the petitioner has to undergo 22 years
2 24-crwp994.odt of imprisonment. At present, the petitioner has undergone more than 20 years of imprisonment but less than 22 years. Relying on the affidavit, the learned A.P.P. appearing for the respondents submits that on completion of 22 years of imprisonment by the petitioner, the respondents will take appropriate steps to release the petitioner.

In view of the statement made by the learned A.P.P. for the respondents, the petition stands disposed of.

Since Mr.Dhaware, learned Counsel is appointed as an amicus curiae to prosecute the cause of the petitioner, his fees be paid as per the schedule of fees maintained by the High Court Legal Services Sub-Committee, Aurangabad.
