Heard learned counsel appearing for petitioner and learned APP. In pursuance of notice to the respondent, one Bapurao Ramrao More, Superintendent of Central Prison, Aurangabad, Division Aurangabad has filed affidavit-in-reply on behalf of respondent No. 1. 2.
So far as main grievance of the petitioner is concerned, it would be apt to reproduce hereinbelow the relevant portion from paragraph No. 5 of the affidavit in-reply filed by respondent No. 1, "The PRISMS PROJECT OF Prison Department, CCTNS software of police Department, E-prisons software of Judiciary Department and Aadhaar project of UIDAI will be linked by a web based software PRISMS. This linkage will allow easy access to information of prisoner, so also will provide entire history of prisoner. This project is on verge of completion (annexed herewith is the copy of report of computerization of record of Prisoners) Exhibit R-1

Apart from this PRISMS Project prisoners are given coin-box facility and also prisoners can meet lawyers, friends and family members and can seek information of their case."

So far as prayer of the petitioner to direct the authorities concerned to provide Internet facility to prisoners is concerned, in that respect it is stated that due to security reasons and extra technical manpower it is not possible to accede to said request. We are satisfied with affidavit-in-reply filed by respondent No. 1. We also hope and expect that expeditious steps will be taken to ensure to take the PRISMS project of Prison Department, CCTNS software of Police Department to its logical end.

With directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of. 5.
The fees payable to the advocate appointed on behalf of the petitioner to represent him in present matter be paid to advocate concerned as per rules.
