Learned advocate for the petitioner has also submitted the application online to the respondent No.2.

We have heard both the sides, considering the fact that the petitioner possesses a scheduled tribe certificate issued by a competent authority from Tuljapur District Osmanabad, the respondent No.2 - Committee has the jurisdiction to decide the proposal. 3.

Learned AGP on instructions submits that the respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee would accept the proposal and process it in accordance with law.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to accept the proposal and decide it in accordance with law within eight months.
