Present application has been filed for quashing the FIR vide Crime No.157 of 2023 dated 02.07.2023 registered with Peth Beed Police Station, District Beed for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, [1]

appln-2640-2023.odt 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code. 2.

Learned Advocate for the applicants and learned Advocate for respondent No.2 submitted that the matter has been compromised and respondent No.2 started cohabitation with applicant No.7/husband and they are residing together in a separate house since last one month prior to 10.07.2025. The terms of compromise have been placed on record. In view of the said settlement, as the husband and wife are residing together, we hope that they would live a good married life. In view of the same, as respondent No.2 has given no objection for quashment the FIR as well as the proceedings, if any, we exercise our powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Hence, the following order :-

ORDER

I) Criminal Application stands allowed.

II) The FIR vide Crime No.157 of 2023 dated 02.07.2023 registered with Peth Beed Police Station, District Beed for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code stands quashed and set aside as against the present applicants.
