The learned AGP accepts notice for respondents. Mr. Shinde, learned counsel submits that the petitioner is exploring possibility of admission to the professional course and seeks directions against the Committee to decide the proceeding immediately.

The petitioner for the first time has filed proposal seeking validation of his caste claim on 6th August, 2021 and now has approached the Court seeking directions against the Committee to decide the proceeding immediately.

We cannot issue positive directions against the Committee to decide the proceeding within a particular time frame.

916 wp.10161.21.odt Considering the fact that the petitioner is exploring possibility of admission to the professional course, the Committee, if it is possible for it, may endeavour to decide the proceeding expeditiously and if possible by 15th October, 2021.

The petitioner may appear before the Committee on 20th September, 2021.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
