The petitioner / husband challenges the order passed by the Principal Judge, Family Court, Ahmednagar directing him to pay maintenance of Rs.15,000/- per month for the child. There is no order of directing maintenance the respondent / wife. The child is aged 3 years. The petitioner / husband has income of 1⁄2 Rs.15,00,000/- per annum. The respondent / wife has income of Rs.37,000/- per month. However, she is taking care of herself and the child.

Considering the same, the court has granted the direction to pay Rs.15,000/- per month towards maintenance of the child. The court has also observed that the petitioner / husband is capable of earning Rs.2,00,000/- per month and that he has not

2 wp11112.2025 paid any amount towards the child's maintenance. That, the respondent wife had also shown the school fees receipt of Rs.60,000/- . The Principal Judge, Family Court, Ahmednagar passed the impugned order dated 05.06.2025 granting maintenance to the child, which is impugned in the present petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner / husband submits that the petitioner is now on notice period. It is the responsibility of both the parents to take care of the child. Considering that the income of the petitioner / husband is already demonstrated before the trial court and being substantial, the impugned order cannot be faulted with. 5.

The Writ Petition stands dismissed.
