The applicants are seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime no.162 of 2016 registered at Hadgaon Police Station, Tq. Hadgaon, Dist. Nanded for the offences punishable under section 498(A), 307, 323, 504 r/w. 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is claimed that Pavitra - complainant was married to the son of the applicant no.2 - Laxmibai on May 2, 2014, who was sought to be set on fire by the applicants.

Perused the investigation papers. If the story, as is narrated in the FIR is to be accepted, then there is hardly any injury suffered by the complainant - Pavitra pursuant to the resistance, which she could have shown for the acts attributed against her to the present applicants.

Apart from above, there is hardly any material on record which contemplates custodial interrogation of the applicants, particularly when applicant no.2 is aged about 65 years and applicant no.1 is a married woman blessed with two children. Both of them are very much available for investigation and prosecution. Hence the following order:- 6.
In the event of the arrest of the

Nanded for the offences punishable under section 498(A), 307, 323, 504 r/w. 34 of the Indian Penal Code, they be released on bail upon their executing P.R. bonds in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rs. Fifteen Thousand) each with one surety each in the like amount. 7.
The applicants shall attend the concerned Police Station initially on 20th and 21st August, 2016 between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon and thereafter as and when called.

The applicants shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence or influence the witnesses in any manner.

Criminal Application stands disposed of accordingly.
