The petitioner in this petition is seeking limited relief for an appropriate direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the proposal concerning the petitioner for inclusion of his name in Shalarth I.D. 2.

It appears that the proposal was submitted as far back as on 23.04.2023 by the respondent No.3 - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Beed and that a reminder was also recently sent on 09.04.2025. 3.

Learned AGP appears for all the respondents.

We are surprised that proposal pending since April 2023 has not been decided by the respondent No.2, prompting the petitioner to invoke writ jurisdiction of this Court.

It is due to failure on the part of officers like the respondent No.2 that writ petitions are being routinely filed in this Bench of the High
