The petitioner who is similarly placed with rest of the other 47 institutions with respect of whom inspections have been carried out for taking the decision for grant of non salary grants, pursuant to the Government Resolution dated 17 September 2019, is awaiting decision by the authorities. This Court in respect of several other institutes has issued directions for considering their grievances in the light of the report received and directed the Competent Authority to take decision. 3.

The parties are ad idem that a similar order can be passed in this matter.

In the light of the order of this Court in the matter of Shri Vasantrao Naik VJNT Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Through its President Versus The State of Maharashtra and others, in Writ Petition

No. 10367/2022 and another connected matter, dated 30 January, 2023, we dispose of the Writ Petition by directing the respondents to take appropriate decision on the petitioner's claim as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of 12 weeks from today.
