Learned AGP for the State makes a statement on instructions that the Chief Officer who had proceeded on leave is likely to resume duty on 01.09.2016 and, in the event of his failure to join duty, appropriate decision would be taken in accordance with the relevant rules and, the charge of the post of Chief Officer Municipal Council, Ambad would be handed over to the officer of the revenue department. Apprehension has been expressed in respect of adoption of adverse financial policy decisions by the present Chief Officer.

Considering the facts of this case, it is directed that the Incharge Chief Officer shall not take any financial decision in the meanwhile. 3.

In view of above, writ petition stands disposed of.
