By this application, the Zilla Parishad seeks extension of time to complete the enquiries, as directed by this Court, vide order dated 14/10/2021. The present application pertains to the Departmental Enquiry to be conducted against the original petitioner Vivek Laxmikantrao Pedgaonkar. As the Enquiry Officer suffered Covid-19 infection, the enquiry got delayed. 2.

In view of the above, we deem it appropriate to extend time w.e.f. 01/05/2022 till 30/11/2022. The Civil Application is allowed.

The conduct of the original petitioner Shri Vivek Laxmikantrao Pedgaonkar is brought to our notice through an application tendered by him on 30/06/2022. He has informed the Enquiry Officer that, he could not proceed with the enquiry, since the time period is over and if they conduct the enquiry, he would prefer Contempt of Court proceedings. A copy of the said letter dated 30/06/2022, is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.

We find that, Shri. Vivek Laxmikantrao Pedgaonkar is trying to terrorize the Enquiry Officer only because the time limit, which we have granted for completing the enquiry, was over. His conduct cannot be countenanced. On this occasion, we are ignoring his conduct. Henceforth, if he does any such act, which amounts to interfering in the directions issued by this Court or the duties of the Enquiry Officer or any person concerned with the enquiry, and if such conduct is brought to our notice, we would deal with Shri. Vivek Laxmikantrao Pedgaonkar with regard to the said conduct, strictly.
