It is submitted that, though the Tahsildar has directed the Talathi and the Circle Officer to cancel the mutation entry No. 879 and submit report to him on 22.02.2016, as yet steps are not taken.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents/State submits that, the Talathi was to verify as to whether any further proceedings are taken up and whether there are any orders to the contrary.

In fact, the Talathi ought to have done the said exercise by now. It is almost three years, the Tahsildar has directed the Talathi and Circle Officer.

In case, there is no other impediment, then the directions issued by the Tahsildar dated 22.02.2016 (page 30) in respect of tenancy shall be implemented by the concerned Talathi and the Circle Officer expeditiously.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
