This is a revision application preferred against the order dated 3rd April, 2023 passed by the Family Court, Latur. The learned counsel for applicant submitted that in the year 2003, the maintenance amount was enhanced to Rs.700/- per month. Thereafter, the application for enhancement of maintenance was preferred, in which the learned Family Court enhanced the amount to Rs.6,000/- per month.

Perused the impugned order and the documents filed on record. The applicant is getting monthly pension of Rs.1466/-. The learned counsel for the respondent pointed out that the applicant is having agricultural land.

948 REVN.209.2023.odt The learned counsel for applicant submitted that the applicant is having liability of second wife and two children. Considering all the facts and circumstances of the case, the maintenance amount of Rs.6,000/- per month is a reasonable amount and the learned Family Court has given plausible reasons while partly allowing the application. There is no illegality and perversity in the impugned order. The revision application therefore, deserves to be rejected. Hence, the revision application is rejected. [ SANJAY A. DESHMUKH, J. ] nga
