The present appeal is filed by the Acquiring Body / State. 2.

Shri. Ganesh Jadhav, Naib Tahasildar, is present before the panel. Shri. A. M. Phule, learned A.G.P is representing the State. Shri. C. K. Shinde, Advocate is appearing for the respondents i.e. original claimants in the matter.

It is submitted that the Acquiring Body / State does not wish to prosecute this appeal further in view of the policy adopted by the Government vide Government Resolution dated 3rd November, 2016, read with corrigendum dated 23rd February, 2017. It is further contended that the State has not yet deposited the amount of compensation. It is further submitted that the State undertakes to deposit the amount of compensation with interest accrued thereon till today, within a period of six months from

-2- FA/4414/2017 the date of this order.

Shri. Shinde, learned Counsel, on instruction submits that, if the State deposits the said amount within six months from the date of this order, the claimants will not claim interest of the said period of six months. 5.

In view of the submission so made, First Appeal stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
