Heard. The petitioner who was selected and stood at Sr. No. 2 in the list for appointment as Anganwadi Sevika claims that the candidate at Sr. No. 1 was elected as a Sarpanch and could not have been appointed as an Anganwadi Sevika. The petitioner's representations addressed to the respondent No. 6, who is Project Officer of the Child Development Project (Exhibit - G) is still under consideration.

Without expressing anything on merits, we direct the respondent Nos. 6 to 8 to take appropriate decision on the petitioner's representations (Exhibit - G) on its own merits as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six
