This matter was heard for sometime.

The petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this petition, with liberty to file a fresh representation seeking promotion to the post of Extension Officer (Education), Zilla Parishad, Beed.

Shri Suryawanshi, learned Advocate for respondent Nos.2 to 4 submits that the petitioner is at Sr. No. 2241 in the existing seniority list. As on date, there are about 479 eligible candidates to be considered on seniority-cummerit basis, while filling in the promotional posts of Extension Officer (Education). He, therefore, submits that as and when the respondent - Zilla Parishad commences the procedure / process for filling in such positions, the representation of the petitioner will be considered along with all eligible candidates as on date on which the process is commenced. 4.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that he has no objection if the representation of the petitioner is considered as per the suggestion recorded in the foregoing paragraphs. 5.

In the light of the above, this petition is disposed off as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to apply for being considered for the akl/d

BENCH AT AURANGABAD WRIT PETITION NO. 8510 OF 2015 promotional position of Extension Officer (Education). If such a representation / application is made, the respondent / Zilla Parishad shall consider the same only at the time when the process for granting such promotions is commenced and the petitioner will be considered from amongst all eligible candidates based on the norms made applicable for promotion.

It is made clear that the candidature of the petitioner shall not be entertained in isolation or out of turn.
