PER COURT :- The petitioner is praying for consideration of her application for return of land tendered to the Sub divisional Officer in the year 2015. Subsection 3 of section 28-1-AA and proviso thereto prescribe limitation of 90 days from the date on which the amended Act of 2001 came in to force. The Act came into force on 2.2.2012 and as such the limitation period for making application for return of lease hold land stood extended upto 1.4.2012. The petitioner, has admittedly tendered the application beyond the prescribed period of limitation. There is no provision in the Act which confers power on the concerned authority to extend the time beyond 90 days provided under the Statute. In view of decision rendered by the Division bench of this Court on 17.11.2014 in Writ Petition No.3277/2014 at Bombay, the instant petition does not deserves to be considered. The petition is accordingly rejected.
