1] Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, states that the impugned proclamation has been canceled. 2] It would, however, be open for the petitioner to tender appropriate representation to the Collector for redressal of his grievances and it would be open for the Collector to deal with such a representation in accordance with provisions of law and the scheme in respect of excavation of sand formulated by the State Government.

3] With liberty as aforesaid, writ petition is disposed of.
